Welcome to Four Winds Frankfurt's first tournament!
This single day tournament will consist of 5 hanchan following EMA standard rules . We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible!
Registration
Please submit your registration using the form below! After registering, please send the tournament fee as soon as possible to the bank account listed in the registration email that you'll receive. Note: This is a manual process, please give up to 24 hours to receive the email.
Registration can be cancelled so long as it's requested before July 19th.

Tournament Format
The tournament will follow EMA rules , but will not count towards EMA rankings. Each hanchan will be played until the end of the South round, or until the end of the first hand that starts after the bell at 75 minutes, whichever happens sooner.
Table assignments will be pre-set for all rounds such that no-one will play against the same opponent more than once. Lots will be drawn at the start of the tournament to determine each player's number in the schedule.

- Doors Open: 8AM
- Hanchan 1: 9AM - 10:30AM
- Hanchan 2: 10:45AM - 12:15PM
- Lunch: 12:15PM - 1:00PM
- Hanchan 3: 1:00PM - 2:30PM
- Hanchan 4: 2:45PM - 4:15PM
- Hanchan 5: 4:30PM - 6:00PM
- Closing Ceremony: 6:15PM - 6:30PM
Catering
A lunch meal (with vegetarian option, please note in your registration form), water, and snacks will be provided by Schanz to all competitors and helpers. Beer and other alcoholic drinks are available at your own cost.
After-Tournament Hang-out
After the tournament, a local music act will be performing in the outside portion of Schanz's location. Feel free to hang out and chat with other competitors, chill to some tunes, and maybe have a drink or two to help support Schanz!
